About Chartreuse

Chartreuse Design, founded in 2009 by Catherine Clamage and Laura Robertson, is an interior decorating company based in Chapel Hill, NC. Laura and Catherine share the vision that a well-designed home not only looks beautiful but feels comfortable and more importantly, reflects your lifestyle. Their passion for design and eye for detail allow them to create simple and sophisticated results. These successful results come from an ability to listen combined with an approachable style. Their happy clientele is what drives their business.

Spending time with Catherine and Laura is delightful, like “having tea with old friends.” These gals have great style and amazing talent, and a lovely way of connecting with customers. We are so pleased with our new color palette, and all of the design elements and little touches that have modernized our 15 year old home.  We are enjoying our little sanctuary so much more now, and our visitors are quick to notice too! Ladies, thanks for listening, being so patient and responsive, sharing your best ideas, and helping to manage to our budget. We are HUGE fans and cannot wait for our next project! – Becky & Scott
